How Did Jivi Spa Get Its Name?

“Jivi, or जीवी, in Hindi simply means “Life”. Everything we do here at Jivi Spa helps our customers live healthier, more balanced and more relaxed lives, hence the name Jivi seemed very suitable. It’s also got a nice ring to it and is easy to remember.”

”The basis for all our spa treatments is Ayurveda, a holistic system of medicine with origins in India that dates back over 3000 years. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge), meaning “knowledge of life”. Ayurveda posits that disease is caused by imbalances or stress in a person’s consciousness, and recommends lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to restore balance between the body, mind, spirit, and environment. We really wanted this to be represented in the name of our business – Jivi Spa.”

What’s behind the Jivi Spa Logo?

“If you look closely, you’ll see that the logo represents two leaves to symbolise nature and the ancient practice of Ayurveda, which is at the core of everything we do. Together, the two leaves also form the shape of the letter ‘J’ in Jivi Spa.”

”For our branding, we wanted something simple that was timeless, elegant and with a touch of luxury. We worked closely with David, our marketing consultant to bring our brand to life. The result is simple but we love it, and we hope you do, too!”
